Black Caviar

Black Caviar's next race will be the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot

The Peter Moody-trained Bel Esprit five-year-old has captured the hearts and minds of race fans and punters not only around Australia but across the globe, Black Caviar undefeated in her stunning 21 career start to date.

An 11 time elite level winner the superlative sprinter has amassed over $5.7 million in prize money during her reign, connections testing her on the international arena this Saturday in the £500,000 Grade 1 Golden Jubilee Stakes (1200m).

Last seen winning the Group 1 The Goodwood (1200m) at Morphettville on May 12 Black Caviar will again be ridden by her regular hoop Luke Nolen on Saturday, Nolen with previous winning form at Ascot.

Having had over a week to settle into her English surroundings Black Caviar has reportedly been thriving at her Newmarket base and is ready to take on her rivals at the undulating Royal Ascot track.

Unsurprisingly the Aussie bookies are taking no chances on the queen and our No. 1 recommended sportsbook bookmaker.com.au have Black Caviar as the odds-on $1.22 favourite in their Diamond Jubilee Stakes odds.

Her two closest rivals are both currently at a quote of $9 with Bated Breath and Moonlight Cloud.

The Roger Charlton-trained local Bated Breath comes off a first-up win at Haydock Park and is also accepted for Wednesday morning’s Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes (1000m) at Royal Ascot, for which another Aussie Ortensia is the favourite runner.

Moonlight Cloud meanwhile is a classy filly from France and also comes off a resuming win having won a Group 3 feature over 1400m at Longchamp on June 2.

The next shortest priced rival is then James Fanshawe’s Rock Of Gibraltar stallion Society Rock at $14.
